Mrs. Brittainee Brown Collins

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1st Corinthians 13:4-7 Mrs. Brittainee Michelle Brown-Collins, age 32, entered into eternal rest, Monday, March 13, 2021 at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She received her formal education in the public schools of Clayton County and was a graduate of Mundy’s Mill High School class of 2007. Brittainee Brown-Collins attended Georgia Southern University, where she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry and also received a Master’s in Public Administration. Britainee had a passion for caring for children. She expressed her love for children in various settings such as, church and her owning her own in home daycare, Sunshine Daycare. Brittainee was a devoted member of the Spirit and Truth Worship Center, where she served in various roles and capacities. Her most recent role was Church Administrator and Youth Department Leader. She also served as the assistant treasurer for Restoring the Breach Inc. She leaves a legacy of love to be cherished by: her devoted husband, Franklin M. Collins, her children, Caleb and Nehemiah Collins; her mother, Kim Jones, her father, Sammy (Anita) Brown, brothers, Jeremy Brown and Dugan Brown; paternal grandparents, Sammy and Martha Brown Sr., her maternal grandparents, Alice and Rufus Jones Sr.; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends. A walk through viewing for Mrs. Collins will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 from the hours 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hill’s Mortuary, Inc. Additional viewing will be held on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the funeral home. A graveside funeral service and burial will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Bulloch Memorial Gardens with Pastor Paul R. Johnson, officiating. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be enforced at the funeral home and graveside services. We ask that you adhere to all CDC guidelines. Brittainee's preferred colors are purple and red. Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
