Mr. Yaheed Tyquan Brooks

Statesboro, Georgia Mr. Yaheed Tyquan Brooks, age 28, passed away, Monday, May 23, 2022. He attended the public schools of New Jersey and the Bulloch County School System. After moving to Georgia, he received a degree in Sanitation Services. He is preceded in death by, his grandmother, Gwendolyn Brooks Douglas. He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters Kyndall Hodges and Avionna Johnson, both of Statesboro, GA, his mother, Kajawanna Brooks, Statesboro, GA, three sisters, Yasmine Brooks, Niketa Revan and Keaira Morgan all of Statesboro, GA; his brother, Deaquan Brooks, Statesboro, GA; his grandfather whom he looked up to, Edward Brooks, New Jersey; his uncles, Jaquan Brooks (Bria Dorsey), Damien Brooks both of Statesboro, GA and Donta Brooks, New York; two aunts, Quatisha Brooks (Daniel Rich) Statesboro, GA and Dorcas Brooks, New Jersey; a favorite cousin Tazire Brooks, New York; the Holly family, a host of other relatives and friends. A walk-through viewing for Mr. Brooks, will be held, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hill’s Mortuary, Inc. on Friday, June 10, 2022. The funeral service for Yasheed Tyquan Brooks, 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Hill’s Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Germain Williams, officiating. Burial will be in the Eastside Cemetery. Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
