Ms. Tawana Michele Cone Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Statesboro, Georgia Ms. Tawana Michelle Cone, age 41, entered into rest, Monday, April 1, 2013 from injuries she sustained in an automobile accident. She attended the public school system of Bulloch County and was a graduate of the Statesboro High School class of 1989 and the Ogeechee Technical College. She was currently employed with the Viracon Company and T. J. Max of Statesboro and a member of the Whitesville Full Gospel Worship Center. She is preceded in death by her father, Homer Cone, grandparents, Deacon and Mrs. Remer and Rena Cone, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel and Gladys Jones. Ms Cone leaves her memories to be cherished by, her loving daughters, Chianti Cone and RonQuasha Cone, both of Statesboro, GA., her devoted mother, Doris Jones, Statesboro, GA., sisters, Tracy Burns-Crawford, Statesboro, GA., Tina-Stevens Brown, Valdosta, GA., Voncile Jones and Alisha Jones both of Statesboro, GA., brothers, Maurice Jones, Statesboro, Ga., Lenwood Burns, Atlanta, GA., Corey Cone, Brunswick, GA. and Homer Cone, Jr., Tallahassee, FLA., aunts, Lynette Jones, Glenville, GA. and Valarie Brown, Statesboro, GA., uncles, John Simmons, Columbia, SC., Lester Jones, Brooklyn, NY., Wesley Jones, Randall Jones, Raymond Cone and Dennis Cone, all of Statesboro, GA., a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Cone family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill’s Mortuary, Inc. Services commemorating the life of Ms. Tawana Michele Cone will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013 at the Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church, the Rev. Harry J Tremble, Jr., pastor and the Bishop Larry Jones, officiating. Burial will follow in the Bulloch Memorial Gardens. Ms. Cone will lie in state at the church on the day of service from noon until the funeral hour. There will be no viewing after the eulogy.
