Statesboro, Georgia Mr. Quincy Jackson entered into rest Friday, September 9, 2016 at his residence. He was a Bulloch County native and the son of the late Ulysses and Annie Lee King Jackson. He was a former employee of the Bulloch County Health Department and a former member of the Voices of Harmony. He was a member of the Sprit Filled Baptist Church. He leaves to mourn his passing, his children, Tunisa (Lisa) Jackson, Quincy L. (Nicole) Jackson, and Quinteasa Jackson all of Statesboro, GA., Jennie Thompson, Jacksonville, Fla., Quintasia Jackson, Augusta, GA., Salycia Jackson, Swainsboro, GA., and Addison Jackson, Statesboro, GA., extended children, Lakeisha Jackson, Atlanta, GA. and Veronica Norfleet, Pittsburgh, PA., two sisters, Minister Irene Jackson, Statesboro, GA. and June Stripling, Jacksonville, Fla., brothers, Wesley (Carolyn) Jackson, Register, GA. and Andrew Jackson, Statesboro, GA., 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Jackson family will greet their friend and family on Friday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Hill’s Mortuary, Inc. The funeral service for Mr. Jackson will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill’s Mortuary, Inc. with the Rev. Charles Weaver, officiating. Burial will follow in the Mercer Grove Baptist Church cemetery. Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
