Mrs. Jeanette Taylor

Brooklet, GA Mrs. Jeanette Taylor age 57, passed into rest, Thursday, November 23, 2017 at her residence. The Bulloch County native was a graduate of the Statesboro High School class of 1978 and a member of the Little Bethel Baptist Church where she served as an usher. Mrs. Taylor was currently employed with the Bulloch County Board of Education as head custodian at the Southeast Bulloch Middle School. She is preceded in death by her father, Lucious Hendrix, two children, Antoinette Hendrix and Lavon M. Taylor. She is survived by her husband, Randy Taylor of Brooklet, Georgia; two sons: Ali (LaChona) Taylor of Statesboro, Georgia and Luke (Kellece) Taylor of Atlanta, Georgia; an adopted daughter: Kimberly Wells of Savannah, Georgia; mother: Gracie Mae Hendrix of Statesboro, Georgia; two sisters: Linda (Darnell) Tillman of Atlanta, Georgia and Gracie (Leon) Jones of Cooperville, Georgia; two brothers: James Willie (LaBetrice) Lundy of Winter Heaven, Flordia and Lucious (Jeanette) Morrell of Statesboro, Georgia; five sisters-in-law: Gwen Howard and Joanie Cope of Brooklet, Georgia, Rosa Hagins of Portal, Georgia, Margurite Hall of Alexander, VA, and Dr. Evelyn Gamble- Hilton (Frankie) of Statesboro, Georgia; one goddaugher, Alysia Bulloch of Rincon, Georgia; a special friend, Monique Moore of Statesboro, Georgia; eight grandsons, four granddaughters, one great granddaughter, several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the chapel of Hill’s Mortuary, Inc. The funeral service for Mrs. Taylor will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Southeast Bulloch High School, 9184 Brooklet Denmark Hwy. Brooklet, GA 30415 with the Rev. John T. McPhatter, officiating. Burial will be in the Bulloch Memorial Gardens. Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
