Ms. Charlotte "Beanie" Reed

Statesboro, GA Mrs. Charlotte “Beanie” Reed, passed away, Friday June 3,2022, at her home in Clito Georgia. She was born May 26, 1961 and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Charlotte Boykin and the late James Reed. "Beanie" received her formal education in Statesboro and retired from Georgia Southern University. She had a very giving and courageous heart, never met a stranger and always had a word or two to give. Good bad and indifferent her family and the love shared meant everything to her. Beanie leaves behind her loving partner for over thirty years, Willie Sabb, Statesboro, Ga, three beautiful daughters, Shannon Marshall (Willie) of Augusta Ga, Rasheen Black of Statesboro, Ga., and Alexis Redding (Rufus) of Statesboro, Ga; her mother, Charlotte Boykin Smith (Rocco) of Augusta, Ga; sisters Carol Bacon (Andre), Sharon Marshall, Angelia Smith, Celette Smith all of Augusta Ga. and Kendra Foster of Baltimore MD; brothers, Paul Reed and George Marshall of Augusta Ga, Anthony Reed, Margo Reed of Roselle NJ, Everette Ross (Michele) of New Jersey; a uncle, Frank Reed (Randi) of Settle, WA; five grandchildren, Dana Marshall of Atlanta, Ga, Anthony Lundy III and Amia Holliday of Statesboro, Ga, Felisha Yarborough and Willie Taylor Jr. both of Augusta Ga. three very special great grandchildren, Matthew Ashe Jr. and Daniel Ashe both of Atlanta Ga. and Chloe Yarbrough of Augusta Ga; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral service for Ms. Charlotte "Beanie" Reed, will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the Chapel of Hill's Mortuary, Inc. with the Reverend Maurice Hill, officiating. Burial will follow in the Bulloch Memorial Gardens. Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
