Mr. Kevin Brady

Statesboro, GA Author Kevin D. Brady, age 52, passed into rest, Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the Memorial Health University Medical Center. The Bulloch County native was the son of the late Dosy and Lula Mae Lumpkin Brady. He received his formal education in the public school system of Bulloch County and was a graduate of the of the Statesboro High School Class of 1985. Kevin furthered his education at Morris Brown College and later received a business degree from Georgia Southern University in 1992. Kevin, worked with his family at Brady’s Auto Clean Up. He was employed with many other dealerships in Statesboro and Metter, Georgia area. In 2019 Kevin and his wife Charlene created a support group, “The You are Not Alone Support Group, Inc.”. Together he and his wife work with the youth of the community by providing tutorial programs, food giveaways and helping other in unsolved cases. Kevin had a very creative mind for writing and reading, which led him to become thd author of eighteen books. He was a member of the Hodges Grove Baptist Church and later became a member of the Life Way Church of God. He leaves to cherish his memories always; his loving wife of fourteen years, Charlene H. Brady, Statesboro, GA, a son, Carlton Hendrix, New York; three grandchildren, Caden, Carlynn and Camp; sisters, Laurie (Larry) DeLoach, Millen, GA, Shimika Lashay Brady, Vidalia, GA, Sherri LaCrystal Brady, Metter, GA, and Jacelyn Brady, Los Angeles, CA, two brothers, Doise Brady, Jr., Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Brian Keith Brady, Sylvania, GA, a host of niece, nephews, other relatives and friends. The public will have an opportunity for a walk through viewing to be held Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from the hours of 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Celebration of life services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the pond side garden of Hill's Mortuary Chapel with the Pastor Xavier Mikell, officiating. Burial will be held in Lee Cemetery. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be enforced at the funeral home and graveside services. We ask that you adhere to all CDC guidelines. Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
