Mr. Gary Mosley

Statesboro, Georgia Portal, Georgia Gary O'Neil Mosley was born on July 11, 1971, in Metter, Georgia, to the union of the late Charlie Mosley and Bernice Mae Thelma Riggs Mosley. He was the fifth child born to this union. Gary attended Willow Hill Elementary School and Portal High School, and he later graduated from Ogeechee Technical College. Gary joined Banks Creek Primitive Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of the late Elder James J. Grant. He faithfully served as a deacon at Banks Creek Primitive Baptist Church and also served on the finance board of the New Mount Pleasant Association. Gary worked for Georgia Southern University for five years. In 1995, he began his career with the City of Statesboro Wastewater Treatment Plant, where he served in various positions over the course of thirty years. He concluded his career there in 2025 as SCADA Administrator, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, skill, and dependable service. Gary put his heart into everything he did. He was a man of faith and integrity who loved his family deeply, and he will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew him. On Monday, June 29, 2026, Gary Mosley entered into rest. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Mosley, and his sisters, Lannie Joe Mosley Scott and Barbara Ann Marie Mosley. He leaves to cherish his sweet memories his wife, Felecia Mosley; his mother, Bernice Mae Thelma Riggs Mosley; his brothers, Ray (Odean) Mosley and Brent Mosley; his aunt, Carolyn Mosley; his mother-in-law, Mary Louise Jones; and his brothers-in-law, Daryl Lewis and Reuben (Nekada) Lewis. He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces, Bridgett Scott and Talana Mosley Hobbs (Miron); his nephews, Jeremy Scott (Shakela), Benjamon Scott (Danielle), and Andrew Mosley (La Portia); his great-nieces, Jayala Scott, Neriyah Ware, Leilani Scott, Moriah J. Hobbs, Charlie Nova Mosley and Lannie Scott; his great-nephew, Camden Hobbs, a host of other relatives and friends. The Mosley family will receive visitors from 6 P.M. to 7 P.M , Monday, July 6, 2026, in the Ben Samuel Hill Memorial Chapel of Hill's Mortuary, Inc. The Funeral service for Mr. Gary Mosley, will be held at 10 A.M., Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the Banks Creek Primitive Baptist Church, with the Elder Gary Wallace, Presiding and the Pastor, Elder Joseph Mosley, Offcating. Burial will follow in the Munlin Cemetery. Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
