Mr. Christian Andrew Lewis

Christian Andrew Lewis was born on January 11, 2003, in Waynesboro, Georgia, at Burke County Hospital, to Rev. V.E. Lewis and Mary Branch. He spent most of his life growing up in Statesboro, Georgia, surrounded by family and those who loved him dearly. Christian attended Statesboro High School, where he was an active student and enjoyed being involved in school activities. He was a proud member of the wrestling team, JROTC Raiders and the band, experiences that allowed his personality, determination, and talents to shine. Christian was no stranger to hard work. Throughout his young adult life, he demonstrated a strong work ethic and willingness to provide for himself and help others. He previously worked at Mavis Tire, and at the time of his passing, he was employed by SERVPRO in Statesboro,Georgia. Christian found joy in the simple things that made life special. He loved fishing, listening to country music, and playing his guitar. Those who knew Christian will remember his beautiful eyes, his unforgettable sense of humor, and his ability to bring laughter to the people around him. Above all, Christian loved his family deeply. He never hesitated to go the extra mile for the people he loved and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Christian also shared a special bond with his special friend, Takiah Tobie, who held a meaningful place in his life. Christian was preceded in death by his baby brother, Jacobi Lewis his beautiful sister, Aniya Davis, grandfather Mark Lewis and uncle San Antonio Branch. He leaves to cherish his precious memory his father, Rev. V.E. Lewis (Angelina); his mother, Mary Branch; his brother, Torrey Davis Jr.; his sister, Amina Lewis; his grandfather, Rev.Johnny Branch (Ilene); his grandmothers, Susie Branch and Denise Williams; his special friend, Takiah Tobie; his best friend Danny Wise and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly. Christian’s life may have ended far too soon, but the love, laughter, memories, and moments he shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His beautiful smile, his sense of humor, his love for music, and the love he had for his family will never be forgotten. Christian will forever be loved, missed, and will remain a treasured part of our family. His funeral plans will be announced at a later date Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
