Ms. Bonnie Faye Humphries

Boston, MA Bonnie Humphries was a woman of deep faith, generous spirit, and unwavering love for her family. She passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. She was 72 years old. Born on September 5, 1953, in Statesboro, Georgia, Bonnie was the cherished daughter of the late Lee Holmes and Mattie Humphries. From an early age, she embodied resilience, compassion, and a heart devoted to service. These qualities defined her life and touched all who knew her. Bonnie attended Statesboro High School in Statesboro, Georgia, and went on to build a meaningful career as a Healthcare Administrator. She took great pride in her work as a Department Manager at Walmart Incorporated, and she was especially elated to serve with the Georgia Southern Job Network Program, where she became a true advocate for higher education and the advancement of women. Bonnie believed deeply in lifting others and opening doors of opportunity for future generations. A gifted chef and baker, Bonnie found joy in the kitchen as an entrepreneur and expressed her creativity through sewing. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Above all else, Bonnie was a devoted servant of her Lord and Savior, living her faith daily through kindness, humility, and love. Her three children survive her: Dr. Felicia Humphries (Lisa), Boston, MA; Kesia Rochelle Clark, Boston, MA, and Richard Clark, Boston, MA. Fraternal twin brother, Bonnie Ray Humphries, Brockton, MA, Herman Humphries, Lake City, FL, and Bobby Humphries, Florida. Sisters Marcella (Fred) Lowe and Virginia (John) Humphries. She leaves to cherish her memory three loving grandchildren (Brianna, Jace, & Jozlin), along with a wealth of friends that became family, church members, and colleagues whose lives were enriched by her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering encouragement. Bonnie’s legacy is one of faith in action exhibited through quiet strength, selfless love, and a steadfast commitment to serving others. Her gentle spirit and nurturing presence will be deeply missed yet lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her. Though she is no longer with us in body, her example of grace, perseverance, and devotion will continue to guide and inspire generations. Her funeral plans are forthcoming
